The Probation Department monitors the defendant’s successful completion of the Judge’s sentencing.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR PROBATION DEPARTMENT

 

Ø       First Offender Program entitled Selective Intervention Program for impulsive theft cases.

Ø       Use of community facilities for community service.  Donations in lieu of service hours to Safety Town and Basic Aid Training.

Ø       Created Food Program which distributes to local needy families through Civic Organizations and local Churches.  Defendants are given an opportunity to create a food box in lieu of community service hours.

Ø       2005 Specialized Docket for Alcohol Offenders begins.

Ø       Established random drug testing with local medical facility.
