The Lyndhurst Municipal Court’s
Civil Division is responsible for handling general civil
cases: personal injury, property damage, contracts, and forcible entry and
detainer (evictions). The maximum you can seek is $15,000.
The filing fee for
Civil complaints is $120.00 for the first defendant and $10.00 for each
additional defendant.
All corporations are required to be
represented by counsel.
