Salary

The Court establishes its own pay grades and salary schedules, and sets the salary of the successful candidate based on experience and comparative figures. New hires will usually begin within the posted salary range, but in limited circumstances a candidate with superior qualifications and experience could be offered a higher starting salary.

Benefits

The Lyndhurst Municipal Court offers an excellent benefits package that include health, prescription, vision, dental, and life insurance; paid vacation, sick leave, and personal leave; paid holidays; longevity service payments; an Employee Assistance Program; a deferred compensation program; and direct deposit of net pay.

Court employees are members of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS), which provides retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for public employees. All full-time employees contribute to OPERS by paying the required employee share, which is 10% of their salary. The Court pays the required employer’s share of 14% of the employee’s salary. Since Court employees are members of OPERS, they do not have any Social Security taxes withheld from their pay.

Applicant’s must submit the Court’s employment application.
